Welcome to Tribelio!

Tribelio (“we, us or our”) is a Community Building Platform (“Service”, “Platform” or “Product & Service”) that available for everyone, including an individual or brand or entrepreneur or company (as a Group Leader whom we called “Tribe Chief”) who would like to start a movement by gathering people (“Members”) who shares same interest with them by building a community (“Tribe”) that is loyal and can give impactful result for their personal branding or business or company, because they can engage better with those people closely and clearly. People who use and register themselves with us either as a Member or as a Tribe Chief should create a “Tribellio Account” for which be called as “Tribelio Users”.

This Privacy Policy describes how our Platform works, obtain and manage information about a Tribe, Member and Tribe Chief, including all activities in it such as, but not limited to collect, use and share personal information about you (“Personal Data and Data”) and collect, use and share the Tribe analytic performance report “Data”.

Unless defined here, capitalized words have the same meaning as in the Tribelio Terms of Use, which this Privacy Policy is part of.

By clicking “I ACCEPT & AGREE” at the end of this Privacy Policy, you have agreed to continue use our Services and give consent to Tribelio, legal permission to:

1. The Permission You Give to us by creating a Tribelio Account

We collect all Personal Data and Data when you share it voluntarily, such as by when you visit our website, register an account, join or create a Tribe. We also collect all Data regarding all activities happened in a Tribe, including but not limited to the conversations, content exchanges (such as add posts, articles, photos, videos, questions, polls, share links, share files or documets, creating events, online learnings and chat with other Members) within Tribe.

  1. As Tribe Chief

    We will share all Personal Data and Data of your Member and Data of your Tribe, which you can use to gain more insights about your brand or business if you Companies or personal branding and member engagement if you an individual such as Influencers or Entrepreneurs. All Personal Data and Data and Data are accessible when you subscribe a plan with us which you can see through a Back-End Dashboard on our Platform.

  2. As Members

    We will collect and keep your Personal Data and Data and Data, including all your all of your activities happened when using our Service, either through a mobile browser, mobile apps, or a desktop. You give us permission to display your username, profile picture and any information about you and process & analyze your actions (such as likes, selling, trading, discussing, organizing, purchasing) and share it with the concerned Tribe Chief, including your relationships next to or in connection with accounts, offers, and other content that you follow, engage with, or provide, that are displayed in Tribelio, without any compensation to you.

    In addition, your Personal Data and Data and Data will be use by us and/or Tribe Chief for any purpose but not limited to improve our Service and to understand the interactions between Tribe Chiefs and its Members, Members to Members, the topics may be of interest to people yet the behaviors and many more activities that we can track by using our Platform.

    For instance, Tribelio may show that you liked a post created by the Tribe Chief or other Members that displayed in a Tribe, as with actions on other content and follows of other Tribe can be seen only by people who have permission to see that content or follow.

    The storage of your Personal Data and Data and account shall be in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of which you are subject to, or at least 10 (ten) years as of the latest date you use, manage, utilize, and organize your Personal Data and Data or account. The destruction or deletion of your Personal Data and Data and account, shall only be effective upon: (i) the lapse of the permissible storage of Personal Data and Data pursuant to the applicable laws and regulations; or (ii) your request as the owner of such Personal Data and Data and account.

2. Utilize the content you create and share:

When you share, post, or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (like photos or videos) on or in connection with Tribelio, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and application settings). This means, for instance, that if you share a photo on a Tribe, you give us permission to store, copy, and share it with others (again, consistent with your settings) such as Third Party Service Providers that support our Platform that you use.

You can end this license at any time by deleting your account. However, all the past content you have created in our Platform, will belong to us and we get the indirect authorization to use them for any purpose without any notice. (Please refer to section 1b). In addition, content you delete may continue to appear if you have shared it with others and they have not deleted it.

3. Update software you use or download:

If you download or use our Service, you give us permission to download and install upgrades, updates, and additional features to improve, enhance, and further development of our Product & Service according to your device’s preference settings.

4. Account suspension or termination:

If we determine that you have violated Tribelio Term of Use, we may take action against your account to protect us and also Tribelio Users, including by suspending access to your Tribelio Account or disabling it. We may also suspend or disable your Tribelio Account if you create risk or legal exposure against us, or when we are permitted or required to do so by applicable laws and regulations in the country you are occupied. Where appropriate, we will notify you about your accounts the next time you try to access it.

5. Personal Data and Data you provide directly

  1. ‘Personal Data or Personal Information’ means any information relating to you from which you can be identified, directly or indirectly, including your name, identification number, location, online identifier such as your IP address or device ID, or one or more factors specific to your physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
  2. ‘Special Categories of Personal Data’ means data revealing your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and data concerning your health, sex life or sexual orientation.
  3. ‘Aggregated Data’ is data in a summary form for statistical analysis. A common purpose of aggregation is to get more information about particular groups based on specific variables such as age, profession, or income level.
  4. ‘Industry Type and Category’ is the data we need a Tribe Chief enter in the beginning when creating the Business Account, subscribe a plan and before creating a Tribe. This is a required information we need you to provide as to develop insights.
  5. ‘Pseudonymisation’ means the processing of Personal Data and Data in such a way that the data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, so long as the additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to prevent you from being identified or identifiable. The data still allows for some form of re-identification (even indirect and remote).
  6. We store and use your Personal Data and Data together with an ID we assign each time you join a new Tribe and are divided into three ID, which are : (i) ‘Business Account ID’ is the ID we assign differently for each Business Manager Account created; (ii) ‘Tribe ID’ is the ID we assign differently for each Tribe created; and (iii) ‘Member ID’ is the ID we assign you one ID per Tribe to ensure you have a personalized experience in each one.
  7. ‘Name and Email Address’. When you register yourself with us and create Tribelio Account, we will ask for your real name and your email address and need this to be verified later on account settings. Both Tribelio and the Tribe Chief will get the access to those information and can use it to any business related purposes using the features provided in the Platform, including but not limited to email and inbox you about our products update and/or programs.
  8. ‘Mobile Phone Number’. When you register yourself with us and create Tribelio Account, we will ask you to complete your profile and verified your number on account settings. Both Tribelio and the Tribe Chief will get the access to those information and can use it to any business related purposes using the features provided in the Platform, including but not limited to SMS, WhatsApp and any other mobile messenger applicable in our Platform.
  9. ‘Social Media Profiles’. You can also register with your Google, Facebook or Twitter account, and please do remember when you register this way, you give us permission to access your Google, Facebook or Twitter profile and photo, email address, birth details, and other details that stated there. Your profile and photo will automatically become your Tribelio Account profile that you may change later on your account settings. See below for more information on Integrated Services like Google, Facebook and Twitter.
  10. ‘Profiles’. When you join a Tribe organically and the email address you provided do not integrated with any of your social media accounts, you will be prompted to add your birthday details and phone number and verified them.
  11. ‘Hashtag’ is a replacement word for ‘Topic’ and is use to better facilitate the member interactions within the Tribe and helping the Tribe Chiefs monitoring content for their each Tribes.
  12. Your ‘Address’ and ‘Location’. We ask you for your location so that we can facilitate interactions with other Members in your geographic area. In addition, if you opt-in our mobile app collects your GPS location information. If you enable location features, or do not disable GPS on your mobile device, other Members may be able to see your location.
  13. ‘Tax Payer Information’. For the Affiliate Program we have explained in Tribelio Terms of Use, we would pay the fee accordance with the nominal value that has been calculated automatically by our system by deducting the tax fee in accordance with applicable tax law in your occupied country. Thus, we need you to upload the information correctly, prior the first withdrawal.
  14. ‘Bank Account Information’. For the Affiliate Program we have explained in Tribelio Terms of Use, we would pay the fee accordance with the nominal value that has been calculated automatically by our system by deducting the tax fee in accordance with applicable tax law in your occupied country. Thus, we need you to upload the information correctly, so we can automatically transfer the earnings.
  15. Other Personal Data and Data You Provide Directly. You may also provide us Personal Data and Data when you use certain features of the Platform such as participating in conversations or polls in your Tribes, contact us with inquiries, or respond to one of our surveys.

6. Personal Data and Data and Information we collect automatically

You have the option of registering using an Integrated Service, such as Google, Facebook or Twitter. If you choose to do this, your profile picture and other Personal Data and Data in your profile on the Integrated Service will become part of your profile on Tribelio. Please see the section below on Integrated Services for more detail.

7. Information about Your Use of the Service.

Our servers automatically record your visits to the Platform and each Tribe you have joined. Like all other website and mobile app servers, ours compiles a log that records the date, time, browser (i.e., Firefox), device type (i.e., iPhone), operating system (i.e. Android), and originating IP address of each page you visit.

We use cookies to collect information about your visits to our Platform. Cookies are text files placed on your computer by websites to collect standard log information and visitor behavior information. Our cookies collect the following information about you: which website or ad you visited right before ours, which pages you visited on our Platform, and how much time you spent on each section of our Service.

We may also collect other data about your visit, such as search requests and results. We use this information for our legitimate interests to track usage of our Service, to measure the number of unique visitors to the different sections of our Service, to understand how users using Tribelio, and to help us make the Service and Product we offer more valuable to every Tribelio Users. The use of this information is called “analytics.” Often information used for analytics is aggregated.

Our mobile applications on iOS (Apple) and Android (Google) have to interact with our computer servers. We assign your device a token so that you do not have to log in every time you use the Service via our mobile apps.

You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some of our Service features may not work properly without cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but allow you to disable them. For more information about cookies visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.

Information about Your Location. From your IP address, we can tell generally where you are when you are accessing our Service, such as which city. We start by choosing a location for you based on the IP address of your Internet connection. You can update or remove this location at any time by logging in to your account on the Service.

8. Our Sharing of your Personal Data and Data and other information

We consider personalizing your Tribelio experience an important part of our Service. We want you to understand what Personal Data and Data gets shared with us, Tribe Chiefs, Members and other third parties or patner as part of the Service as follow:

  1. ‘Processing’ or ‘Process’ means any operation or set of operations performed on Personal Data and Data or on sets of Personal Data and Data, including by automatic methods, such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing, transmitting, sharing or otherwise making available, aligning or combining, restricting, erasing or destroying.
  2. ‘Consent’ or ‘Agree’ means you freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous expression of your wishes through a statement or other clear affirmative action such as checking a box which indicates your agreement to our processing of Personal Data and Data relating to you.

If you are not comfortable with this type of sharing and interactions, please don’t use our Service.

9. Personal Data and Data shared within the Service

Once you have register yourself with Tribelio, you will automatically become a Tribelio Users and have a Tribelio Account. If you subscribe a plan to create a Tribe, you will become a leader of what we called Tribe Chief. As a Tribe Chief, you will have the access to get all data about your Tribe and its members, including their name, email address, and all personal or contact information that they provide when they joined a Tribe you’ve created.

In order to facilitate Member engagement, as a Tribe Chief, you will also have access to Data regarding usage activity, in both aggregated and personally identifiable forms. For example, Tribe Chief will be able to see aggregated Member activity within a Tribe, as well as specific information like how many people cheered (like, comment, share) in response to a comment you made.

Tribe Chief also will be able to associate Contents, and any personal information it contains, with members contact information.

As Members, if you have agreed, your Tribe Chief may communicate with you using any channels provided, such as email marketing, SMS, WhatsApp, Inbox messages about the Tribe or relevant topics of interest to you, and may retain your personal information after you leave the Tribe. You should only join a Tribe if you are comfortable sharing your personal information with the Tribelio and Tribe Chief.

Searching and Messaging by Others. Visitors to our Service may be able to search for your Tribe by searching their interest or your Tribe’s name. As a Tribe Chief you can also have the power to select your tribe to be either open for public, closed tribe or private tribe. The nature of each tribe is as follow:

  1. Open for public: means your Tribe is searchable and is accessible to Tribelio Users, where they can see who’s in it and what they post (including your name and photo (“Profile”), as well as Your Content and activity).
  2. Closed tribe: means your Tribe is searchable, but is not accessible to everyone. Only approval/accepted members by can see who’s in it and what they post (including your name and photo (“Profile”), as well as Your Content and activity)
  3. Private tribe: means your Tribe is not searchable and is not accessible to everyone. Only an invited member can see your tribe and all content in it (including your name and photo (“Profile”), as well as Your Content and activity)

Personal Information Included in Your Content and it will be displayed to other Members based on the privacy levels defined above.

10. Personal Data or Personal Information and Data shared with Third Parties

  1. Integrated Services. If you have used the option to register using an Integrated Service, such as Facebook, we share your information with the operators of the Integrated Service. More information is in the sections below entitled “Integrated Services.”
  2. Business Transfers. As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event, Personal Data and Data may be part of the transferred assets.
  3. Agents, Consultants and Third Parties Whom We Have Contracts With. Tribelio, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples include emailing information to you, maintaining our website, databases and mobile applications, processing payments, marketing and advertising, marketing research and analysis, and customer Service.

    When we employ another company to perform a function of this type, we only provide them with the Personal Data and Data and Information they need to perform their specific function and we do not authorize these Service providers to use or disclose your personal information except as necessary to perform the tasks we have asked them to do for us or to comply with legal requirements.

  4. Legal Requirements. We may disclose your Personal Data and Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) cooperate with a legal investigation or a request from a government authority, (iii) protect and defend the rights or property of Tribelio, (iv) protect the legal rights, safety, and security of users of our website and the Service, (v) protect our legal rights and legitimate interests, and those of our business partners, Service providers, and customers; (vi) prevent fraud; (vii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public, or (v) protect against legal liability.

11. Aggregated data shared

We disclose aggregated statistics, such as number of Tribe Chief and Members, in order to describe our Service to current and prospective business partners, and to our Third Party Service providers for our legitimate interests and other lawful purposes

12. Your Personal Data and Data Rights

You have rights regarding the Personal Data and Data we have about you. You may request a copy of the information that we have about you. You may also ask us to correct or remove personal information you think is incorrect. But do remember, once you registered with Tribelio, you automatically authorized us to access all data provided by you and the Service that integrated with your entered information and to use that for business purposes, without any noticed that explained in this above sections.

If a Tribe Chief (the data controller) is using the Service to process your personal information wrongly and disrespectfully, you may contact the Tribe Chief to object, restrict, access, correct and refuse the actions. If you need help for handling this problem, please contact us at help@tribelio.com.

If you have a registered account in the Service, you may access, correct, adding or request deletion or a copy of some or all of your Personal Data and Data by logging in to your Tribelio Account.

Please note, we will keep your personal information for as long as necessary for us to provide the Service to you. We will also keep and use your Personal Data and Data to comply with laws including tax laws and other applicable laws. We will also keep your Personal Data and Data and Information as necessary for backup, archiving, audit, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and troubleshooting problems.

13. Your Right to Choose

Join Tribelio and Tribe Chief you trust. You get to decide the Tribes you want to join. You also get to decide whether you trust your Tribe Chief with the information sharing described in this policy.

  1. Public, Closed, or Secret Tribe settings
  2. Tribe Chief can choose to make a Tribe Public, Closed, or Secret as described above.
  3. Adjust your notification settings

In your account settings, you can control the frequency, type, and mode of notifications you receive through the Service. You can choose to be notified by email or mobile alerts, WhatsApp, SMS, Account Inbox or neither them. You can choose to turn on or off your notifications by type, such as cheers on your posts, and questions you can help answer.

  1. Opt out of email

    We would like to send you information about our Service that you may be interested in. If you have agreed to receive marketing messages from us, you may opt-out at any time. We provide an opt-out link at the bottom of each email message.

    Because we plan our communications in advance, it may take several weeks for your opt-out request to take effect. If you continue to receive marketing messages from us or a Tribe Chief after you opt-out, please let us know so that we can investigate the situation.   2. Deleting cookies

    To manage or delete browser cookies, please see your browser’s privacy settings.

14. Account termination

You can leave one or more of your Tribes, or delete your Tribelio account. As soon as you leave, we stop collecting your Personal Data and Data for that Tribe. Your past data will be automatically deleted but still accessible for your Tribe Chief and us on the system.

15. Personal Data and Data Exclusions

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data and Data collected by Tribelio outside the Service, such as a telephone calls and face to face meetings. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to Tribelio through the Service or through any other means, such as information posted to any public areas of the Service, any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”).

All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Tribelio shall be free to reproduce and use such Unsolicited Information without limitation or attribution. We respect your copyrights in Your Content, as outlined in Tribelio Terms of Use.

If your Tribe Chief has an additional privacy policy covering the Tribe Chief’s use of Personal Data and Data, you should review it carefully, because it may be different than this Privacy Policy.

16. Disputes with Tribe Chief or other Members

Tribelio cannot control the actions of Tribe Chief or other Members; if you have a privacy-related dispute with a Tribe Chief or another Member, you should contact that person directly. You should alert us through help@tribelio.com if you believe that a Tribe Chief or another Member has violated this Privacy Policy or our Acceptable Use Policy.

17. Under Age

Tribelio does not knowingly collect Personal Data and Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use the Service or submit any Personal Data and Data through the Service. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data and Data to Tribelio through the Service, please contact us at help@tribelio.com and we will look to delete the account from our databases.

18. Shared Links with/to other web applications

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Service. The Service may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Tribelio (the “Third Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from the Service do not imply that Tribelio endorses or has reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information about their privacy policies and practices.

19. Integrated Services

One of the special features of the Service is that it allows you to enable various online Third Party Services, such as social media and social Services like Google, Facebook and Twitter (each, an “Integrated Service”), to integrate directly into your Tribe. By directly integrating these Services, we make your use of Tribelio richer and more personalized. To enable Integrated Services, we will ask you to authorize Tribelio to access the Integrated Services (or vice versa).

When you add an Integrated Service account to a Tribe (or vice versa), your log-in information, Personal Data and Data, non-Personal Data and Data, location information, your content, your Tribe name, your Tribe location, your Tribe affiliation and fee, profile photo, Facebook Connect ID, Profile (if you are integrating your Facebook account) and other relevant personal information may be passed through to, or received from, the Integrated Service in connection with your use of the Service.

We may import, use, disclose, and retain such data and information to, among other things, customize and improve the Service for you and others. Note that Integrated Services may also import, use, and retain this information. You may be able to control how certain information is shared with us in your privacy settings within the Integrated Services. However, please remember that the manner in which Integrated Services collect, use, store, and disclose your information is governed solely by the policies of the companies operating those Integrated Services, and we shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any Integrated Service that may be enabled within the Service.

If, and only if, you have elected to integrate your Tribelio with an Integrated Service, we may share your information with Integrated Services. This may happen when you first register with Tribelio, when you log into Tribelio from time to time, or in emails or other communications we may send you consistent with this Privacy Policy. We may from time to time share your Personal Data and Data and anonymous data, your location information, your Tribe Membership, your location, and your use of certain features on Tribelio with Integrated Services to facilitate and enhance your use of the Integrated Services.

Please keep in mind that Services provided by Integrated Services are not provided by us and therefore your use of the Integrated Services will be governed by the Integrated Services’ Terms of Use and other policies, and that the collection, use, and disclosure of information provided by you or us to Integrated Services is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

20. Personal Data and Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption, aggregation, and pseudonymization to protect your Personal Data and Data provided via the Service from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet, email, or other electronic transmission is ever 100% secure or error free, so we cannot guarantee that your Personal Data and Data will never be accessed, used, or disclosed, so you should take special care in deciding what information you share on the Service.

“Phishing” is a scam designed to steal your Personal Data and Data. If you receive an e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp, Inbox that looks like it is from Tribelio asking you for information about you, Tribe you’ve joined, Tribe you’ve created or Account you have, please contact us at help@tribelio.com.

21. Transferring Data Globally

Our website and mobile applications are provided from within the Singapore and are subject to laws and regulations of Singapore. However our Service is designed to be use globally. If you are located outside Singapore, your Personal Information is being transferred to, stored, used, and shared globally and should comply with the law in the country.

As explained above in this Privacy Policy, we sometimes share your Personal Information with Third Party Service providers so they can perform Services for us. Our business model does not allow us to share your Personal Information with Third Parties who are not our Service providers. If that changes, we will seek your consent to share your Personal Information with them. If we share Personal Information we have received under the Privacy Shield Frameworks with a Third Party, which Third Party’s access, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information must also comply with our Privacy Shield obligations. We may be liable for any failure by any of our Third Parties to comply with the Privacy Shield Principles unless we prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

22. Contact Tribelio

We acknowledge the right of individuals to access their Personal Data and Data under the Law and Regulations in the country they occupied. In the above policy explains how to contact us to access your data. To keep your Personal Data and Data accurate, current, and complete, please update your account settings or contact us at the email address help@tribelio.com. We will take reasonable steps to update or correct Personal Data and Data in our possession that you have previously submitted via the Service.

23. Changes and Updates to Tribelio’ Privacy Policy

We keep this Privacy Policy under regular review, and we will notify you when we make changes in the future. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any Personal Data and Data to us. We will also place any updates on our website. This privacy policy was last updated on the date indicated at the top of this document.

We have no liability or responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of our Tribe Chief or other actions of any Integrated Service that may be enabled within the Service.
